A Virgin Voyages wedding folds the ceremony, the honeymoon, and the guest trip into one sailing. Nobody books a separate hotel block. Nobody drives between the venue and the reception. And because the ship is adults-only, it's a grown-up party from the first toast to the last.
Dining, entertainment, WiFi, gratuities, and everyday beverages are already part of every Sailor's fare. Your guests aren't nickel-and-dimed, and neither are you.
Ceremonies are performed by the ship's captain or hand-selected senior leadership, in a private venue, with a dedicated Wedding Specialist before you sail and an Onboard Wedding Coordinator once you're aboard.
Ceremony package, your cabin, your guests' cabins, the group perks, pre- and post-cruise nights, flights — I coordinate it as one plan instead of twelve separate bookings.

Virgin Voyages offers three ceremony packages — from just the two of you to a whole-crew celebration. I'll quote you current pricing for each once I know your sailing and guest count.
Just the two of you
An intimate ceremony for you, your beloved, and the captain. Perfect for elopements, destination-wedding-without-the-guest-list, and couples who'd rather spend the budget on the trip.

Couple + up to 4 guests
A small celebration with your closest people at your side — parents, best friends, or the kids who are all grown up. Dining help extends to one extra night of the voyage, too.

The whole-crew "I do." Everything in the smaller packages plus a one-hour cocktail party and a wedding dinner — an elevated dining experience with your entire party.

When your guests sail with you, Virgin's Wedding Groups program lets me block cabins together and unlock benefits for the entire party. This is where having an advisor pays for itself.
The timeline
Virgin runs a tight, well-defined planning calendar. Here's what it looks like — and where I fit in.
We choose your ship, itinerary, and date, then lock cabins for you and open a group block for guests. Virgin requires the wedding to be booked at least 120 days out for the largest package and 90 days out for the two smaller ones — I recommend more runway than that.
Program planning ideally begins with your Virgin Wedding Specialist. Dining requests go in by 120 days.
All requests submitted by 60 days; programming, ceremony time, location, and your own vows finalized by 30 days. Add-ons must be purchased by 60 days.

Pre-voyage check-in, then your introduction to your Groups Manager — your Onboard Wedding Coordinator from the moment you reach the terminal.
No — and it's important to know that going in. Virgin Voyages doesn't provide legal paperwork or marriage licenses. Onboard ceremonies are symbolic expressions of love; most couples handle the legal marriage at home before or after the sailing. I'll help you plan the sequence.
For a simple, single-cabin booking, my planning is included. A wedding voyage is a multi-part itinerary — ceremony package, your cabin, a group block, guest coordination, often hotel nights and transfers — so it carries a planning fee, which I quote upfront before you commit to anything. You'll always know the number first.
Ceremonies take place at sea during the voyage, not on embarkation day, so everyone attending needs to be a Sailor on that voyage. That's exactly what the Wedding Groups program is built for.
You can — Virgin asks that your officiant have their own cabin on the sailing. Otherwise the captain or a hand-selected senior officer performs the ceremony, and it's a lovely touch.
Virgin Voyages can adjust sailings for weather, port conditions, or operational reasons, and ceremony times or locations can move as a result. Wedding packages and add-ons are non-refundable once purchased, and cabins follow Virgin's standard cancellation policy — which is why travel protection is part of every wedding plan I build.
Virgin Voyages is adults-only (18+), which is a big part of the appeal for a grown-up celebration. If your guest list includes little ones, I can help you weigh a different line — just ask.
